Opportunities like this happen rarely – even more so with our current economic climate!

Our client is seeking a true leader within the FMCG recruitment environment. You will need to be a well educated, sharp individual who possesses great influence and takes total responsibility for the business objectives that need to be achieved. An in depth knowledge of retail head office functions (E.G. Procurement, Marketing, HR and Sales) and their successful interaction is absolutely essential.

An entrepreneurial approach that delivers no matter the odds must ooze from your personality. The killer instinct must be within you to take on the massive exposure this role will give you.

You will need the knowledge to lead from the front, a well executed sense of humour to relieve some of the pressure when challenges are testing the team and the boundless energy to see situations through to a positive conclusion. You will also be required to quickly find candidates via databases, writing detailed job descriptions / adverts and be comfortable with search / head hunting.

Your presence and knowledge will allow you to open doors with ease, win business and forge relationships with directors and senior procurement managers. You will need the strength of character to win business whether in the board room or on the golf course / at a conference / attending a networking event.

Your C.V., references and proof of earnings will all need to demonstrate that you are already successful and are seeking a fresh challenge in a dynamic and positive environment that rewards your triumphs and sets new challenges to match your evolving personal development.

Our client will only consider applications from the very best the industry has to offer.  If you crave training and a three month induction program, this role is most certainly NOT for you.

To summarise: The “ideal” candidate for this role will have a strong work ethic, a pragmatic approach to business and be acutely aware of the ramifications of both good and bad decisions. At your core, you need to be enthusiastic, a team player and motivated by the financial rewards that this role will bring. You must also possess the communication skills to build, train and retain a successful team.

The Company: Our client has had a considerable amount of success in the last ten years. The directors are very much “hands on” and have many years of senior retail sales, operations and HR functions. They now have a portfolio of enviable national
